QuestionAnswer

How can I register for an exam?

There are three ways to register for an exam.

  1. If you have completed an Instructor-led training course with a corresponding certification, you will receive an email with instructions on how to register for an exam. Alternatively, you can Log in to ServiceNow University, navigate to the My Exam page under My University Account, and your available exam will appear here.
  2. If you complete an on-demand course with a corresponding certification, the last module will provide instructions on how to register for the exam. By clicking View Exam, you can navigate to the exam registration page.
  3. Log in to ServiceNow University, click on Explore Catalog in the top right, navigate to Credential, and locate the exam you would like to take, OR navigate to Credential Program, and then Credential Paths, and locate the exam you would like to take.

Refer to Registering for your exam in ServiceNow University via Pearson VUE.

Do I need to complete on-demand or instructor-led training (ILT) before I can access exams?

No, except for Expert Programs - Architecture Excellence (ArchX), Certified Technical Architect (CTA), and Certified Master Architect (CMA). You can search for your exam, pay the fee, register, and schedule it directly.

If I complete the ILT course, do I have to pay the initial exam fee?
