Credentials - Registering for a Pearson VUE exam

Overview

ServiceNow's Credentialing Program offers flexible exam delivery options through our new platform, powered by Pearson Vue, and provides you with two convenient options: Test Center (in-person) and OnVUE (virtual). You can register your exam directly through your ServiceNow University (SNU) account whenever you are ready, submitting your personal details and making payment if required. Once registered, you will have 90 days to schedule your exam, with the option to reschedule as many times as needed within this timeframe.

International Sanctions

OnVUE online exams are not available to candidates located in China, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic (Syria), and certain regions of Ukraine (Donetsk, Luhansk, and Crimea). Candidates from these countries must test at a physical test center in a non-sanctioned location. Use the Test Center Search to find eligible locations.

Learners must have an account set up in ServiceNow University:

You can register for an exam from the Exam Overview page. The Exam Overview page can be accessed in the following ways:

1.	Complete the associated Instructor‑led and navigate to My exams in ServiceNow University (SNU) using any of these options: My University account > My Exams Image example of My exams via My University account. 2.	Enroll for the associated On‑demand course and navigate to the exam which appears as the final content. Image example of exam as Content.	For enrollment information, see: Enrolling (signing up) for on-demand training. NOTE: It is recommended that you complete the course to ensure full preparation and access.
3.	Use the Search bar to quickly find your exam. Type the full exam title (for example, Certified System Administrator), then filter by Credentials to locate the official exam page. Once you locate your exam, click Register to add it to your My Learning Dashboard > My exams.
After accessing the Exam Overview page, follow the instructions to complete your registration.

IMPORTANT: When registering for the exam, Japanese and other non-English users are advised to register for the exam using English (Roman) characters and bring a valid primary ID that shows their name in Roman characters, rather than in the local language.

Instructions

To register for your certification exam:

Login to ServiceNow University.
Select the relevant link:
1. Course completed
2. Course not completed

If you have completed the associated course:

1. Navigate to My University in the navigation header, select My Exams, then go to My Current Exams widget where you can view your associated exams.

2. Select View on the relevant exam. This will take you to exam Overview page.

If you have not completed the course: Enroll in the relevant on demand course and navigate to the exam which appears as the final content of the course.
NOTE: It is recommended that you complete the course to ensure full preparation and access.

1. Go to the Navigation header and select Home. The homepage displays.

2. Search for the relevant course:
  1. Use the search bar to locate the class in which you want to enroll or
  2. Press the Enter key on your keyboard to open the advanced search page to see a longer list of results.
    
    Use the image below as reference when searching.
3. Select the required course. The course overview page displays. select Start. This takes you to the Enroll in Course screen.

4. Select Start. This takes you to the Enroll in Course screen.
  1. Review and accept the Terms & Conditions.
  2. Select the Enroll button. This will take you to the course landing page.
5. Navigate and select the exam which appears as the final content in the course.

6. Select View exam. This will open the exam Overview page.

Select Register now. The Registration for exam window opens.

Complete the registration:
1. Update your registration information: Review your auto-populated first and last name, which should match the information on your official ID. You can edit these fields to ensure accuracy before proceeding with registration.
  NOTE:
  - If your name does not match your government identification, you cannot take the exam and fee is non-refundable.
    - For users providing Aadhaar ID, see Aadhaar ID Policy for Pearson VUE.
    - For other accepted IDs, see Global ID Policy.
  - When registering for the exam, Japanese and other non-English users are advised to register for the exam using English (Roman) characters and bring a valid primary ID that shows their name in Roman characters, rather than in the local language.
2. Review your preferred exam delivery method: Virtual or In-person. Select Learn more to view options and availability.
3. Exam accommodations: Select here to request currently available exam accommodations by submitting a case in ServiceNow University. For information on available options and instructions, see Selecting exam accommodations during exam registration.
Select Confirm to continue. Depending on whether payment is required, one of the following windows will open:
- If payment is not required, the Enroll in Course window opens.

Proceed with the relevant option:
1. Enroll in Course (no payment required):
  1. Review the Terms and Conditions, and select Agree and enroll. Once registration is complete, a confirmation message will appear.
2. Pay for Content (payment required):
  1. Select your preferred payment option: Pay with Credit card or Pay with Learning credits.
    NOTE: For ETA users, see Payment with ETA benefits.
  2. Select Continue to complete the payment. For detailed payment steps, refer to Paying with credit card for exam registration via Pearson VUE or Paying with Learning Credits for Exam Registration via Pearson VUE.
    
    After completing the payment process, a confirmation message will display, indicating that your registration is complete.
The Schedule Now option becomes available on the exam item Overview page. For more information on scheduling your exam, refer to Scheduling your exam in ServiceNow University via Pearson VUE.

IMPORTANT: After registering, you must schedule and complete your exam within 90 days, or you will need to re-register for the exam.
